Roundup: It's Another Catch Up!

Top: thrifted Ralph Lauren (similar here) // Pants: Anthropologie (here) // Shoes: thrifted (pretty from Prada here or J.Crew here) // Earrings: J.Crew (similar here)

I have 10 outfits for you. 10. I've recently started to learn to stop "shoulding" on myself (I should do this, I should do that) so instead I will say, I wish that I kept up with these a little better. Ha!

Necklace: InfinEight Jewelry (here) // Blouse: Madewell (here or here) // Belt: Madewell (here) // Pants: Uniqlo (here) // Purse: personalized vintage (similar here) // Shoes: GHBass (similar here or here)

I've had these shoes for seven years now. Flatforms flirt with becoming trendy but never fully get there so I keep wearing them.

Shirt: J.Crew (here) // Jeans: Levis (here) // Bag: vintage // Scarf: vintage (check Etsy!) // Flats: Chanel

I turn 40 this year and have realized that I'm reaching for more classics. I think the trend treadmill is losing/has lost it's appeal while I still love style and fashion. I could write/would love to write a whole post on this so I'll save all my blather on this topic for another day.

Pullover: LLBean (here) // Tee: Doen (here) // Leggings: H&M (here) // Sneakers: Tretorn (similar here)

My "I don't know what to wear what is the weather doing what am I doing" go-to outfit.

Dress: vintage (similar-ish here or here) // Tee: vintage // Jeans: Levi's (here) // Shoes: Madewell (similar from J.Crew here) // Purse: vintage (similar here)

Dress as a duster/coat. It turned out that the forecast was wrong and it never got out of the 30's so I froze. The end.

Sweater: J.Crew (here) // Jacket: The Great (similar here) // Overalls: Madewell (here) // Shoes: Madewell (this year's version here)

Anchorageites are super grumpy because spring is a slooooowwww time coming. I mean, highs in the 40's slow time. Since August brings the rains (like no joke cats-and-dogs rain) we have a summer clock and it's ticking away. I'm trying to stay positive and choose clothes that seem spring-ish while still being warm. I think this sweater will look cute with cutoffs too. If I get to wear cutoffs.

Blouse: Madewell (here or here) // Pants: Anthropologie (here - and I must have subconsciously copied their styling, I'll try it with tan sandals next!) // Shoes: Tretorn (here) // Bracelet: Hermes (similar here or here) // Purse: Chloe (wallet here)

I'm just going to repeat my Instagram caption: I look like I'm going to a track meet where everyone wins and the medals are flower crowns.

Blouse: Madewell (here) // Overalls: Levi's (here) // Cardigan: Vince (similar here) // Shoes: Paloma Wool (in woven white here) // Purse: Theory (in denim here)

One of my favorites. Grownup overalls.

Jacket: The Great (similar here) // Tee: thrifted Madewell // Jeans: Zara (sold out? I think these are exactly the same thing here though) // Shoes: Tretorn

So I was going to return these jeans but my children ripped open the box and destroyed the packing slip. As I mentioned in my last post I'm trying to only buy retail if I'm positive I'll wear the heck out of it. We'll see how well I can make side stripe jeans work in my wardrobe! Good thing they fit.

Coat: H&M (similar here but a lot pricier) // Sweater: 360Cashmere (similar here) // Belt: Madewell (here) // Jeans: J.Crew (here) // Shoes: Madewell (this year's version here

You know how Southern California Girls go crazy when it's 60 degrees and they can wear all their winter stuff? Well, we Alaskans go crazy when it's 60 degrees and we can wear our summer stuff. It's all about perspective, right?

And just as a little side note: I have an Etsy shop! I think I mentioned it in the last post but I just wanted to share again plus I added a bunch of stuff yesterday and today. There's pieces that may be familiar to longtime readers and even if not there's a bunch of vintage styling going on in the listings. I hope you check it out!
