It's 2°F. I mean, I'm not sure what else to say about that. It's still warmer than the predicted high later this week so it could (and will) be worse? We could talk about staying warm. I'm all about passing on cold weather style strategies.
In the above photos I have Uniqlo's "extra warm" shirt and leggings layered with my sweater and jeans. But I just went to Uniqlo's website and saw that they now carry "ultra warm" which I will be buying and reporting to you on. Make myself useful and hopefully nice and toasty.
Speaking of layers, a few posts ago I admitted to succumbing to Black Friday sales and purchasing a bodysuit from Madewell. You guys, I'm going to buy more (oooh, maybe a henley this time?). It is warm and SO GOOD for layering because it doesn't ride up or bunch under a top or dress.
And finally, the boots. Moon Boots are the warmest boots I've ever owned. By far. I have other boots that are more than suitable for chilly temps but these stare cold weather down and then beat it up and dance on it's face. I don't know that I've ever complained about hot feet when it's in the single digits before but I have now. There is definitely a reason they are known for being great apres-ski boots!
And that's it! For now. . . :)
