Spring/Summer Inspo

I'm sitting here looking out at dreary skies and rain dreaming of warmer weather ahead. Before I go thrifting I go through a folder of saved images so I kind of have an idea or a feeling of what I'm looking for. Right now it's Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2012 RTW that's inspiring me.

I know the big stories for the upcoming season are pastel, floral, and ladylike and I will be incorporating some of that into my wardrobe but I'm really in love with MK's tie-dyed safari look. (All images from Style.com)

It's not really trendy but it feels absolutely me. Slouchy, tie-dyed, crochet-y. I think the only thing I would add is hot pink or cobalt accents. Sigh.

Oh yes what a funky collection! What a great idea to go thrifting with an action plan- if I did that I would probably spend less! I just bought a crochet beige cape from the thrift store- the white off the shoulder reminded me of that!

need to get my hands on that green/red dress in the middle second from teh top...what a lovely item of clothing, good heavens. Can't say I'd want to wear that crocheted poncho with NOTHING ELSE AT ALL though ;)

Jenn, have fun thrifting, I just returned from goodwill. I only bought things that I will wear tomorrow. You and I have more in common than you would think. A lot of the things you post about although I may not comment, are right on target with what I am currently reading, doing or feeling. think about following along with me. This love, love, love this style. It never goes out as far as I am concerned and with your figure, you could rock every one of them. Dawn Suitcase vignettes xo have a great weekend darling. snow in nj this weekend!!!
