I take the girls to Discovery Village when they need to run off some steam and it's raining outside. The rule there is you have to take off your shoes and wear socks in the play area. I felt weird in my regular socks so I starting wearing fun ones that I could show off, shoes on or off. Now I just felt like a nerd, albeit it one with fun feet.
So when I saw Madewell featuring visible printed socks in their lookbook, along with lots of very fashionable bloggers I was happy. It's making me feel like the shizzle at Discovery Village. Too cool for (pre)school. That's right peeps (because my vocab gets obnoxious when I feel hip) I'm rocking real style while I coach my kid down the slide.

ha!! When I know I am going to Kidstown (a play place that makes you take off your socks) I always wear fun socks too!!

I like a stealth cute sock. That way when I take off my shoes with someone they are all the sudden like, "Whoa, those are some serious socks." And I am all like, "Yeah, I rock." This is a perk of boot weather.

This is my kind of fun, casual outfit! I love it! And I'm all about the fun socks. =) In fact, I'm wearing a pair of gray leopard print socks right now. It's kind of a bummer that no one can see them, so I think I just might cuff my pants to show them off, like you did. =) You're kind of brilliant!
